Submit your local lore, legends and stories

Why?

As much as I LOVE reading and researching, I am aware there is a limit to the info books can hold. I believe the juiciest of tales live with you, passed down for generations, maybe now even disregarded and forgotten.

I tell these stories because I believe our ancestors knew things we have forgotten. That they understood the world through much wiser and comprehensive eyes: they listened to the land and it’s whispers; they noticed the energy shifts and the ‘unseen’ beings. I like to dust off these stories and put the spotlight back on this ancient knowledge where I can.

How?

All of us have heard ‘fantasy’ local tales of the places we grew up, sometimes they’ve become so normal to us that we don’t even pay attention to them. But if you’re here and you do remember- NOTHING WOULD MAKE ME HAPPIER than to hear your story/ies.

No need for you to have EVERY detail. I will still do my own research on what you have shared.

If there’s enough juice in there for a video, then I will record it and pubnlish on my account as content. Sometimes I have ongoing series that suit the theme so I can make the video straight away, or sometimes I may keep the story for later and group it with some similar magical tales.

The contact details below are optional, you can also submit anonymously and you’re asked below if you’d like to tag and credit you too- again this is optional!

About the witch & the wheeels

Me, Luisa. I have always been quite nomadic.

Either backpacking, moving countries or travelling for work as an Events Manager. To be honest, a lot of it was about escaping the void inside of myself. Until one day I looked inside of myself, and found my own magic (it’s a longer story than that, but for the sake of this, that’s enough for today ahah!). And then exploring became about experiences. But a touch and go approach has never been my style. I read; I obsess and then I can’t wait to tell everyone that will listen to me about it too! So I turned my quirks turned into this account, my obsessions into subjects and my expression into content. And here we are :)

Asteria, my camper, was the goddess of the night sky in Greek mythology.

A fallen star who refused to submit to the new rules of the king of the Gods Zeus and turned herself into an island in defiance. That island became Delos, a sanctuary for the spiritual. She told me that was the name she wanted, and that felt right. And now to me she’s a safe space where I can exist in my wholeness. And hopefully, that’s what my little corner of the internet becomes to you too.

Much love xx
